Welcome to the Vision 2040 Website!

This site is intended to keep the public informed about the largest long range planning effort ever undertaken in Doña Ana County, New Mexico – Vision 2040.  Vision 2040 is the first regional comprehensive plan to include Doña Ana County and the City of Las Cruces. Using the links above, you can find information on upcoming meetings, review draft documents, and leave written feedback. Please send your written comments to pmichaud@las-cruces.org.

What's New?

The Vision 2040 Advisory Committee has resumed with more stakeholder involvement and a clearer defined structure than before. They have begun the process of reviewing in sections a working draft of the Vision 2040 Regional Plan. This process is estimated to take until late Fall 2010. Regular updates will be given to the elected and appointed bodies. Meetings are open to the public. Meeting dates, draft documents, and related information is available on the Vision 2040 website.
